I know, I know, I am some days later with this project. I have been much busier than what I thought I would be -- and I have been much more exhausted than I thought I could be.
I'm taking a break from all those books, to develop a project started by ArtOfRivana, that came into me through 3dstage. This project consists on featuring what some artists thought that were their best work and what I think about that choice.
Five days ago, it was yinPT's turn, now it is 's.
In his opinion, this was his best work of 2011:
He chose this one because my Bubble Drop series seems to be the most popular of all the drops series I've done to date, and I think it's a fitting representation of my specialty, he says.
In fact, he is a very quality photographer and he dedicates most of his art time in creating new bubble drop series. He does an incredile work with these drops. Believe me. He puts a lot of colours and shapes in those photographs, making us not believe our eyes when we ask ourselves if it is possible to do such thing. I have seen a lot of bubble drop work on deviantART, but having known his work made me be very skeptical with that theme. I simply am very used to see great, great work, because of him, and now almost any other work in this theme just doesn't surprise me (which I take a lot in consideration, when appreciating art).
Everytime he does a series of bubble drops, I just don't know which ones should I favourite -- all of them or none of them. They're all just too great and too much!
He also photographs a lot of waterscapes, landscapes, cityscapes and artistic nude.
Here it is some other great work from him, in 2011:
TanjaMaria's turn provided for Tuesday!

Future of the group
Dear members of Outstanding-Women,
I'm not sure of how to start this announcement. As you all know, this group has been dead for so much time I can't even define. Well, let me be extremely honest to you. My life is in such a mess since... well, since a year ago, to be a little more precise. I have a great admiration for this project of mine, and not to close the group I have had to say no to some things in my life. But with all that's been happening recently, it is just impossible to keep myself as the moderator of the group. There are a lot of things I can't put behind deviantART, and those things keep me too busy and emotionally damaged to
The Deviation of the Month - June edition
Hello, everyone
This month the edition of June for The Deviation of the Month is very late, as you have noticed. That is due to some late requests we have done, but everything is fixed now.
This month we have two winners. Both artworks are extremely well executed, and I felt like it would be unfair to chose one over the other.

The group is still alive!
Dear members and ex-members of Outstanding-Women (https://www.deviantart.com/outstanding-women):
I'd like to apologize for my unexpected absense. It was not my intention to completely leave the group, but in fact it has been very hard for me to accomplish everything that has been going on on my personal life.
Before I start rambling, I must assure you I am making a huge effort to bring this group back to activity. I will (hopefully soon!) be able to check all your submissions, requests and needs. I also intent to return with the contests, at least the deviation and the favourite of the month.
Being absent from the group made me realize one thing more: this group needs to be more d

Awwwwww Shucks! Thank you very very much. I haven't been quite that active lately here on DA, but when I saw your message, and this journal entry I couldn't help but smile. I really appreciate you taking the time to do this. I might have to do the same at the end of 2012. It seems like a worthy and fun project
Oh, BTW... I've got something new in store for water drops coming in the next month or so Can't tell you though... don't want to ruin the surprise LOL
Cheers,
